Privacy Policy

Information you provide
We process account names, email addresses and account identifiers; family profiles, phone numbers, dates of birth, photos and optional health or care notes; events, calendar imports, addresses and locations; messages and photo attachments; and subscription and purchase status. Only provide information you are authorized to share with your family or caregivers. Apple processes payment details; we do not receive your payment card number.
How information is used and shared
We use this information to operate accounts, coordinate schedules and rides, deliver family conversations, provide location search and directions, enforce safety rules, and manage access and billing. Family members and conversation participants can see information shared with them. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
Service providers
Supabase provides account authentication, database and file storage. RevenueCat and Apple process purchase status and account identifiers for entitlement verification. Vercel hosts our website. Google Places, OpenStreetMap search, and map services such as Apple Maps receive the location or search information needed for requests you make. These services process information to provide their functions and under their applicable policies.
Message safety and automated screening
Before you send your first message, we ask permission to send message text and photo attachments to OpenAI for automated safety screening before delivery. Declining leaves scheduling available. You can withdraw permission in Messaging Safety; existing messages remain until deleted. Do not send sensitive information you do not want screened. Reports include a snapshot of reported content for our support team to investigate. You can report a message and block its sender from that message.
Permissions and choices
Photo, camera, calendar and location access are requested when needed. You can decline or change permissions in device Settings. We do not collect motion or fitness sensor data. Calendar information you choose to import becomes part of your family schedule. Optional profile and care information can be edited or removed.
Retention and account deletion
We retain account and family information while needed to provide the service. Initiate account deletion in the app Settings. This removes your account, personal settings, sent messages and owned uploads, and preserves a shared family for its remaining adult members when applicable. Purchase-related records may be retained by Apple or service providers for legal and transaction requirements. Deleting an account does not cancel Apple subscriptions; cancel separately in App Store subscription settings. Limited safety reports, operational deletion records and backups may persist as needed for safety, legal obligations and recovery, with restricted access.
Security and your rights
We use access controls and encryption in transit, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Contact contact@blueshed.digital to request access, correction or deletion of your information, ask about retention, or raise a privacy concern. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.
Children and family information
Kid Convoy is designed for adult parents and caregivers. Adults enter and manage information about children in their care. Children do not create their own accounts. Provide only information needed for coordination, and contact us if information was submitted without appropriate authority.
